The Reova studio

Reova designs residential projects at a range of scales, from kitchens and additions to custom homes and multifamily buildings. We are known for developing a clear direction along with coordinated construction documents ready for review and construction. The studio is led by Brittany and Gregory.

What sets our work apart is the way we look at a project. As the design develops, we consider the perspective of everyone involved: planning and building requirements, structural review, energy compliance, contractors, utilities, our client, their family, and even the occasional guest.

When these layers are aligned early in the process, projects are far less likely to require major revisions during review or construction. That reduces avoidable changes and helps prevent unnecessary cost increases once work is underway.

Our plans are organized and concise. Contractors regularly comment on their clarity and often refer clients to us after building from them.

When you work with Reova, you work directly with Brittany and Gregory. Our involvement extends through design and documentation and often continues with coordination, site visits, and design input as construction moves forward. We stay engaged at the level needed to see the project through successfully.

Gregory

Gregory leads the design direction from the building side, focusing on layout, massing, scale, and structural coordination. His background combines decades of hands-on building experience with formal training in architecture. He approaches each project by thinking through the chain reaction of every decision—how layout affects structure, how structure affects cost, and how those decisions carry through review and construction.

Brittany

Brittany leads design development from the lived-experience side, ensuring each project reflects how the client and their family will use the space. As structural and technical decisions are being evaluated, she considers how layout affects movement, how proportion affects comfort, and how small adjustments can significantly improve daily function.

She stays closely connected to clients throughout the process, translating their priorities into design decisions and making sure those priorities remain clear as the project evolves.

Together, this balance allows each project to be both well considered and grounded in how it will actually be built and lived in.
